Anthony Mateos was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, and immigrated to Arizona in 1997. Growing up in the streets of Maryvale gave him an early glimpse into the brokenness of the world and the desperate need for the hope of the gospel.

In 2008, Anthony received his call to ministry, and since that glorious day of salvation, he has devoted his life to serving Christ and His Church. He has served in youth ministry since 2008, particularly working with high school students, and currently serves as Associate Pastor at Christ Community Church.

Anthony is married to his high school sweetheart, and together they have an amazing son, Luca. In his free time, Anthony enjoys grappling, riding motorcycles, and playing Magic: The Gathering.

Above all, Anthony is passionate about seeing people know Christ, grow in the gospel, and become equipped to serve His Church.
