Heather Stalnaker
A homeschool mom with a heart for God's people, Heather enjoys investing in those He loves and uniquely created. She holds a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in music from Northern Arizona University, and has worked in various positions in teaching, children's and youth ministry. Watching kids, teens and adults find joy in growing closer to Jesus and seeing themselves as God sees them is what drives her.
After having kids, Heather stepped away from teaching to stay home and began homeschooling in 2014. She continues to homeschool her two teenage girls and her elementary aged boy, but stepped back into music and teaching when she accepted a music directing position for MoezArt in 2022. She has truly loved every minute of getting to work with students again.
Through all of these seasons — the teaching, the ministry work, the homeschooling, the music directing — she and her family have also walked a difficult road of chronic illness, terminal diagnosis, and loss, and she has seen the hand of God faithful through every one of them. That journey deeply shapes the way she encourages and supports her students, knowing that everyone carries something and needs someone who sees them. Heather loves building students up to find their confidence in who God made them to be.
She loves getting outside for walks, talking and laughing with family and friends, diving deep into God's Word, and getting to really know and support people as they walk through their own seasons. She is very excited to work with and share the love of God with your students in the classes she teaches.
