Megan Elliott

Megan Elliott is delighted to be part of the Ignite Homeschool Ministries community. She brings enthusiasm, creativity, and a genuine love for learning into everything she does. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys reading, working out, cooking, and dancing, and she thrives in a fast-paced lifestyle that allows her to serve in many different roles.

She currently works as a tutor, dance teacher, and nanny, and she is grateful for the opportunity to also teach at Ignite Homeschool Ministries. Mrs. Elliott has a deep passion for serving children and families, and she looks forward to continuing a life of teaching and service. Her long-term hope is to one day raise and homeschool a family of her own.

Mrs. Elliott became a teacher because she loves helping students discover a joy for learning. She values getting to know each child as an individual and is committed to creating a classroom where students feel safe, encouraged, and confident to take risks. She believes that meaningful learning begins with strong relationships built on trust, care, and respect.

Her classroom is rooted in joy and engagement. Mrs. Elliott believes that students learn best when they are having fun—even when working through challenging subjects like math. She strives to make learning feel exciting, supportive, and meaningful, fostering an environment where curiosity is celebrated and effort is encouraged.

Statement of Faith

Mrs. Elliott teaches from a biblical Christian worldview and believes the Bible to be the inspired and inerrant Word of God, serving as the ultimate authority for truth and life. She believes in one God who exists eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and affirms that Jesus Christ—fully God and fully man—is the only Savior of the world.

She believes that salvation is received by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. She affirms that all people are created in the image of God and therefore possess inherent dignity and worth. Mrs. Elliott upholds God’s design for life, marriage, family, and the Church as revealed in Scripture and seeks to honor Him in all areas of her life.

In the classroom, this means striving to reflect Christ through love, patience, joy, integrity, and respect for every student, while partnering closely with families to support both academic growth and character development.
